Scripture

Genesis 2:24-25
"For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed."

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.
This is 66th Lecture on Genesis.
In the last lecture, I explained how God created woman with a rib He took from Adam.
Genesis 2:24 says, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."
People may think this verse only talks about the marriage of a man and a woman.
However, this verse is mentioned in Ephesians 5:31.
Ephesians 5:31-32 says, "FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH. This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church."
In deep inspiration the Apostle Paul understood the spiritual meaning of the verse and confessed that 'the mystery is great'.
What is the mystery that Apostle Paul understood?
It is the mystery about the secret to reach salvation.
"The man and the woman" that God mentioned in Genesis 2:24 doesn't refer only to husband and wife in a fleshly sense.
In a spiritual sense, it refers to our Lord Jesus Christ and God's children who are saved.
The Bible calls our Lord "the bridegroom," and those saved children "the brides."
The Seven Year Wedding feast for the Lord and the saved souls which will take place after the Lord comes back in the air is also called "The Banquet of the Lamb."
Revelation 19:9 says, "Then he said to me, "Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb '" And he said to me, "These are true words of God.""
Apostle Paul described the spiritual bridegroom and the bribes as "Christ and the church."
"Christ" is the Lord, our bridegroom.
And "the church" refers to the saved children of God.
"The church" doesn't refer only to the visible physical building.
The truly important core of the church are those who worship God in the sanctuary.
Each and every one of them is the church, and the congregation is the church as well.
1 Corinthians 3:16 says, "Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?"
As said, the person in whom the Holy Spirit dwells is the temple of God, which is the church in a spiritual sense.
That's why 1 Corinthians 1:2 says, "To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours."
It says that those who have become holy (having been sanctified) in Jesus Christ, those who are called saints, and those who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, in other words, the saved children of God, they are the church of God.
Therefore, when Genesis 2:24 says, "a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh," it doesn't only refer to a marriage between a man and a woman.
You should realize this verse contains the spiritual secret of the relationship between Jesus Christ and those who are the saved souls.
Now, what is this secret of the relationship between Jesus Christ and the saved children of God?
Before we knew Jesus Christ, we were slaves to sin
It is just as Jesus said in John 8:34, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin."
Now, the father to those who are salves to sin is the enemy devil that is the ruler of the world.
It is just as Jesus said in John 8:44, "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father."
1 John 3:8 also says, "the one who practices sin is of the devil."
Before the sin is forgiven by Jesus Christ, all are sinners who belong to the devil, the ruler of the darkness.
When they accept Jesus Christ and are forgiven of their sin, then, they no longer belong to the devil.
They are not the children of the devil, and they are not sinners any longer.
Just as a man leaves his father and mother, and is joined to his wife, they leave the ruler of the darkness and unite to become one with the Lord, the bridegroom.
And they receive the right to become the children of God.
It is just as John 1:12 says, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name."
In addition, Galatians 4:6 says, "Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!""
God has sent forth the Holy Spirit to those who accept the Lord Jesus as the Savior, and allows them to call God 'Abba! Father!'
It is in this way that they become God's children and heirs to His Kingdom
It is just as Galatians 4:7 says, "Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God."
Before they accept the Lord and live in sin, they are the children of the devil, who eventually inherit Hell through their father the devil.
On the other hand, if they accept the Lord and become the children of God, they inherit heaven from God.
Therefore, the verse, "a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh" contains the secret of "human cultivation and salvation."
As God the Father created woman as a helper suitable for Adam, He harbored the secret of human cultivation and salvation in His heart.
And Apostle Paul realized it, and so he said the mystery is great.
We can recall our days from the day we were born till today in just a few moments.
We can scan through them even in a minute.
It was much the same way when God created woman, He was capable of thinking over the providence of human cultivation and salvation that He would manage in the future in a flash.
Of course, all the providence was already put in the heart of the Father even before He began the work of Creation.
He foreknew that Adam would commit sin and be driven out of the Garden of Eden, and that human beings would need the Savior, and thus He prepared the way of salvation in advance.
In a literal sense this sentence is very simple, but it actually contains the most amazing and wonderful secret of blessing for the children of God.
Therefore, you should give thanks and sing praises forever and ever to God who blessed you to hear and understand this amazing secret and to reach salvation.
Dear brothers and sisters.
You should understand more fully about the fact that having accepted the Lord you united with the Lord to become as one.
There are many husbands and wives in the world, but the degree of their hearts' being united is different from one to another.
Likewise, the degree of you being united with the Lord is also different from that of others.
You cannot become one with the Lord 100% just because you may confess with your lips that you believe in the Lord,
From the moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, you begin to become 'one with the Lord'.
To the extent your heart changes into the truth, you become one with the Lord more perfectly.
Jesus said in John 17:23, "I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity."
In this verse, "I" refers to Jesus, who is the Word that became flesh and came to the earth.
"I in them" means that the word is in them.
To allow for the word of God to 'be in you', you should not only make it simply knowledge, but you should also cultivate it into spirit in your heart.
When you make spiritual bread of the word of God like this, you can become perfect and become one with the Lord.
If you cultivate the word of God in your heart by 30%, you become one with the Lord by 30%.
If you make bread of the word of God by 50%, you become one with the Lord to that extent.
If you make 100% of It bread, you are one with the Lord by 100%.
Of course, the fact that you become one with the Lord by 100% doesn't mean that you are equal with the Lord.
It rather means that you don't have evil, but you have only goodness and love left in your heart, and at this level you perfectly resemble the Lord.
Such a person is the one who is in perfect unity with the Lord.
Now, Jesus said in John 15:7, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."
If someone who becomes one with the Lord asks for something he desires, he will get a response from God.
I experience these words all the time.
No matter what I ask, I get a response from God
Many times, even before I ask, God foreknows what I will need, and gives it to me.
I pray in the name of the Lord that all of you may enjoy this kind of joy and blessing.
