Until he met God while being an atheist

"Oh, God, You are living! You healed all my diseases."

Reverend Dr. Jaerock Lee was born as the last son. He was introspective but so obedient that he was beloved greatly from his parents. His father was a scholar for Chinese classics and taught him many stories of great men or heroes. And his father took him to many election campaign place and let him listen to many addresses of many candidates to plant him the hope and dream to be a great man.

However, before he accomplished his ambition, he had to live a miserable life without the assurance of tomorrow's survival because of sudden diseases. One day he held a housewarming party some while after his marriage and getting a job, and he drank too much. That night he felt very uneasy with his stomach and his long disease began. He made all kinds of efforts to be healed, but rather a complication appeared and had to suffer from more than 10 kinds of diseases. In particular, he had to receive the help of others whenever he went to the bathroom because he could not almost move his body due to serious rheumatism.
He and his wife found that his diseases were difficult to be healed with modern medical science, so they began to depend on Korean traditional folk remedies.
Later they invited a shaman to exorcise demons. But all their efforts were useless and his condition went worse day by day. 7 years passed since he fell ill.

One day in April 1974, his sister who lived in a rural area visited him and asked him to guide her to the Hyunshinae church where a Christian meeting was being held. He could not reject her request and guided her there leaning against a walking stick.
A lot of people were praying to God in a loud voice when he reached there. He felt somewhat disgusted at the unfamiliar sight, and wanted to come back home. But his sister was praying to God earnestly with her eyes closed when he was going to tell her his return. The only thing He had to do was to kneel down and close his eyes.
At that moment, all his body became hot and sweat ran through his back.

When he came back home after the meeting, he found all kinds of diseases were already healed.
He could not hear well before because his eardrums were broken, but now could hear well. He did not have a good appetite before, but his appetite got well completely. In addition, his skin disease including boils on his neck was gone completely.
He realized later that his sister asked him to guide her to the Hyunshinae church so that he might attend the healing meeting with her help because he would not accept Jesus Christ in spite of her persistent evangelization.
God healed him at one time with the fire of the Holy Spirit as soon as he knelt down at the healing meeting although he neither prayed to God nor received prayer from anyone.
